Welcome Note from the Principal
As a Principal, I would like to extend a warm welcome to RKP College of Pharmacy, Located in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 2019 with an approval from Pharmacy Council of India and affiliation from The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical university, Guindy, Chennai.
The Millennium is witnessing unprecedented challenges and opportunities in higher education. In recent times, the educational sector has gone through a major transformation influenced by the global technological changes viz. Shifting to Outcome based Education, Enhancement of Industry – institute – interactions, digital transformation, providing affordable quality education etc. to pave a way for students to pursue their higher studies and enhanced employment opportunities. In tune with the changes and India – Centered education system recommendation of NEP (National Educational Policy) – 2020, this institute strives to transform our nation sustainably, into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society by providing high quality education to all.
RKP College of Pharmacy believes lifelong learning through new pedagogy methods, faculty development, adoption of new technologies and collaborative work. Faculty and students under the umbrella of RKP College of Pharmacy are encouraged to participate and develop new products, new process and system to enhance visibility of RKP College of Pharmacy in international force and thus, improving economic growth and prosperity of the country.
In order to develop industry ready professionals, RKP College of Pharmacy arranges for regular industry visits, Hospital visits and Field visits. The students are encouraged to pursue their passion, develop innovative skills, set proper goals and execute within timelines. They learn how to handle failures and work for societal needs with environmental consciousness through various innovative mechanisms. The institute is always ready to consider the knowledge on current science, technology and management trends of all stakeholders of Pharmaceutical Education.
